That’s me amongst my monster pumpkin in February, 2010 in my back garden in Mornington, Victoria, Australia where I grow a food forest based on simple organic and permaculture principles.

I’m a firm believer that anyone can grow organic vegetables and fruit trees without any formal qualifications if you’re passionate about eating healthier, committed to learning a few new simple skills and working a few hours each week in your garden.

When I started thinking about what I wanted to grow and dreaming about how I would design my back garden, I knew nothing! I don’t have a green thumb! If I can do it, anyone can!
